About Us

Avrion Labs is a Halifax-based battery technology company offering end-to-end R&D services for organizations developing next-generation energy storage solutions. From our 35,000 sq. ft. pilot-scale facility in Bedford and Dartmouth, our team of battery scientists and engineers supports clients through every stage of cell development — from materials evaluation and electrode coating to custom cell prototyping, performance testing, and failure analysis. We work with formats including coin cells, pouch cells, and cylindrical cells (18650s and 21700s), and across chemistries such as lithium-ion, sodium-ion, and lithium-metal. Our proprietary Ultra-High Precision Coulometry (UHPC) testing equipment gives clients earlier, more actionable insights into battery performance. We serve tier-1 OEMs, materials developers, electronics and automotive companies, and academic institutions — helping innovators move from concept to commercialization faster and with greater confidence.
