About Us

CBWES Inc. offers a wide variety of environmental and archeological consulting services to clients from both public and private sectors. We specialize in planning and implementing multi-objective projects to restore and enhance natural systems through the integration of the best available science with lessons learned from on the ground monitoring and project implementation.

CBWES prides itself on its ability to utilize some of the most innovative and successful ecological restoration, shoreline stabilization and climate change adaptation techniques known around the world. In collaboration with our academic partners at Saint Mary’s University (SMU), we have been engaged in leading edge social and applied science-related projects and research in the areas of native habitat restoration (i.e. salt marshes), ecological and compliance monitoring, geomatics and modeling, low-altitude aerial photography, wetland delineation and assessment, climate change adaptation, ecology of coastal barrens, green roof technologies, and archaeology.
