About Us
Connecting people, enriching communities, and inspiring discovery; Halifax Public Libraries is comprised of 14 branches in HRM. The collection consists of of over one million items, including books, magazines, DVDs, CDs, downloadable audiobooks, and eBooks. With nearly 185,000 members, our branches are busy hubs offering free programs for all ages. The new Central Library, enhanced services system-wide and will attracts an estimated 900,000 people annually.
