About Us

Inclusion Nova Scotia is the provincial voice for Nova Scotian’s intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder community. We do this by bringing together individuals, families, groups, service providers and policy makers across the province who live with or are connected to citizens with an intellectual disability or autism spectrum disorder and champions who share the vision of inclusion in all parts of Nova Scotian life. Our combined experience and expertise increases inclusion and belonging of citizens with an intellectual disability or autism spectrum disorder in all levels of the community. We are guided by first voice and co-creation underpins everything we do.
We look forward to helping Halifax Chamber Members embrace “open employment” opportunities where citizens with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorder work alongside colleagues who do or do not have a disability.
